Christmas in Georgia

We spent Christmas in Georgia. It was great spending time with family! Packing for Christmas was a little tricky. We bought several suitcases at Goodwill to help fly our new toys home!

Evie got to see the battle grounds from the Civil War. The Confederacy guarded the Atlanta by setting up cannons on the mountain.

We had a day of beautiful sunny weather, which called for a picnic at the park!

Our Very Own Santa

One Saturday morning we visited Old Town Coppell's Christmas on Main Street. Evie spent about five minutes perusing her Toys R Us catalog, pointing out her Christmas wishes. Katy was not at all thrilled about it. Who can blame her! They also had horse carriage rides, but we opted for face painting instead!

In Georgia we had a great time thrifting at Goodwill. We EVEN ran into Santa there. He really IS the Georgia Santa. :o) He gave us some flyers he uses to advertise portrait sessions!

Our Family Photos

We had Surely Sweet Photography take photos of our family for Christmas. She did a great job at making the girls smile. It probably helps that she is a former teacher, and she has three kids of her own! 

I was proud to have made both dresses the girls are wearing. They are from Made.  I love the simple lines and modern feel of both styles. I would love to make Evie's dress as a peplum top. I can't believe Katy has already outgrown her dress! I sold it on Instagram in a matter of 5 minutes! Slowly my Lillian Kate brand is growing!

We met at the Gaylord Texan on a cold wintery night! As we left that evening, small snow flurries were forecasted!
