Dallas Arboretum

With Grandma and Grandpa in town, we decided to visit the Dallas Arboretum for the first time. It is open year around and always has beautiful gardens. Since it is pushing 95+ degrees by noon, we left in the morning in hopes it wouldn't be too hot. Well, it was pretty hot, but we found plenty of shade and resting spots along the way. Evie had a pretty good time, escpecially when we let her play with her sippy cup. She managed to spill water all over herself. It was a good thing, because it helped her cool off. I can't wait to see the gardens at each season of the year!

A couple of weeks ago we took Evie swimming at the indoor pool, and she loved it! Now our pool is just warm enough to go swimming. It  is still a little chilly, but not too bad once you're in it for a while.
