At our first appointment with the doctor, we had the chance to see the baby with our first ultrasound. The doctor mentioned that it would look like a caterpillar. To our surprise, it looked much more like a gummy bear!
The Gummy Bear
During my 12 week appointment I had a surprise ultrasound. Meet our little "teddy bear." The arms and legs have grown. There are tiny knees and elbows. During the ultrasound, the baby kicked and waved. I saw the fingers, toes, spine, and heart! Very exciting.
