Dance Dance Dance!!!

Most of you know that I take a Nia class about twice a week at the gym. Basically, Nia incorporates physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of health. It's a holistic approach to exercise that combines nine forms of movement:

Martial Arts: T’ai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido
Dance Arts: Jazz Dance, Modern Dance, Duncan Dance
Healing Arts: Yoga, Alexander Technique, The Teachings of Moshe Feldenkrais

Every week I look forward to going to the gym! Nia is the reason I exercise on a regular basis. It's so energizing and great for releasing stress. On Tuesday, I had the opportunity to attend a dance session in Dallas taught by the creators of Nia. About 100+ people danced for 90 minutes. It was so fun! Here are pictures of some of my Nia friends who went to the event.
